Electrostatic Separation Machine

This electrostatic separation machine has also been successful at beneficiating other inorganic materials, tae atu ki ngā kohuke pēnei i te konupūmā pākawa waro, talc, barite, me ētahi atu. The STET separator has also been successfully applied to processing agricultural materials such as oilseed meals and pulses, animal meals, and rendering products.

The fundamental details of the STET separator are illustrated below. The products are conveyed to the respective hoppers at each end of the STET separator by the separator belt, and fall out of the separator by gravity. E kore e te whakawehe STET hua he middlings awa para ranei, ahakoa ki whirihoranga haere maha whakapai ake te viivii hua whakaora me / ranei e taea.

E kawea matūriki i roto i te āputa kawehiko (rohe wehenga) e te koropiko tonu, tuwhera whitiki mata. E whakahaerehia ana te whitiki i te tere tiketike. Ko te āhuahanga o te whitiki kaimahi ki te tahi i matūriki pai atu te mata o te electrodes, preventing the accumulation of fine particles that degrades the performance and voltage field of traditional free fall parallel plate type separation devices. I tua atu, te whitiki mahia he anake tiketike, rohe moveuveu tiketike i waenganui i nga electrodes e rua, whakatairanga tribo-utu.

The STET separator provides end users with adjustable control of product quality and can be integrated into existing process flowsheets. I tua atu, the STET separator has multiple automation options:

Automation

  • On-board PLC Controls
  • Auto electrode gap adjustment
  • Auto belt tensioning
  • Auto belt tracking
  • HMI (Human Machine Interface) Touch Screen Controls
  • Built-in Alarm and Fault functions dynamically generated for safe operation
  • One button Auto-start/Auto-stop features

STET currently offers two sizes of the STET separator:

Our 42” Separator

This machine is approximately 9.1 mita (29 waewae, 11 ¾ inches) roa; 1.7 mita(5 waewae, 7 inihi) whānui; 3.2 mita (8 waewae 1 7/8 inihi) tiketike. The compactness of the system allows for flexibility in installation designs and processes up to 40 tonnes per hour for fly ash.

Ko te kohi mana ko e pā ana ki 1 kilowatt-hour per tonne of material processed, with most of the power consumed by the two 50 HP (37 kW) motors that drive the belt.

Our 24” Separator

This machine is approximately 9.1 mita (29 waewae, 11 ¾ inches) roa; 1.2 mita(4 waewae 1 inihi) whānui; 3.2 mita (8 waewae 1 7/8 inihi) tiketike, making it 18” narrower than or 42” model, and is able to process up to 23 feed tons per hour.

Ko te kohi mana ko e pā ana ki 1 kilowatt-hour per tonne of material processed, with most of the power consumed by the two 30 HP (22KW) motors that drive the belt.
