李约瑟, 质量. – ST 设备的官员 & 技术有限责任公司 (STET) announced that they have finalized an agreement for the purchase and installation of a fly ash beneficiation unit at the Samchoenpo Power Station by Korea South-East Power Co., 有限公司. (KOEN), a subsidiary of Korea Electric Power Corporation (凯普科).
KEPCO is the largest electric utility in Korea, responsible for 93% of the country’s electricity generation. The separation and processing unit will be used to beneficiate fly ash produced by all Units the Samchoenpo Power Station. The beneficiation plant is currently under construction and is scheduled for completion during the first half of 2019.
The project has been warmly welcomed by the local authorities and community in Korea for its contribution to sustainable development.
“Expanding into Asia is an important milestone for STET and, we believe, for Korea’s Utility sector and concrete industry,” said Mike Allen, STET President. “We welcome the opportunity to work with KOSEP on a second project and know this is just the continuation of an excellent long-term relationship.”
This is the fourth STET fly ash project to be developed in Asia; the previous ones are located in the Philippines, Japan and Korea. There are already numerous fly ash STET separation units in operation in the US, 加拿大, 和欧洲.
