The Institute of Food Technologies (IFT) Annual Event and Food Expo will be held in Chicago this year, July 15-18 at McCormick Place. There will be more than 1,200 exhibitors, 23,000 attendees, and 100 breakout sessions to bring together professionals from around the globe representing all segments of food professions including research and design, manufacturing and academics.
ST Equipment & Technology will be there too, at Booth #N6319, providing information on how our proprietary triboelectrostatic belt separator process can revolutionize the Feed & Food industries. If you’ll be attending, we hope you’ll stop by our booth to find out how our process is beneficial to both your business and the environment because it’s:
- Energy efficient, so it can handle large capacity loads and process them rapidly, without being a burden to the electric grid.
- A dry process, which eliminates the need for a fresh water supply. Unlike standard electrostatic separation techniques, triboelectrostatic technology extends the particle size range to down to a finer level where only flotation techniques had been successful in the past.
- Able to pull more useful material from what you are currently processing (and your waste streams) to provide you with different grades of products and a wide variety of particle sizes within the same flexible unit operation, providing you with a greater number of products to sell with a lot less waste being thrown away. Many other electrostatic technologies are not suitable for processing finely ground, low density powders from plant materials.
- Is compact, so it can be used on-site without having to utilize additional fuel on transporting material from your site to a processing center.
IFT18 is going to be huge and we’re proud to be a part of it. For additional information, visit the IFT website (https://www.iftevent.org/).
We look forward to seeing you there!
